Spatial Studio
Spatial Studio is
a user-friendly GIS tool for editing, presenting, validating and analysing
geographic information. Data can be accessed in Oracle Spatial 9i/10g and the most common vector and raster file formats. Spatial Studio is implemented on the
Microsoft .NET platform.
Data
from well known GIS file formats,
both vector and raster, can be combined with data
from Oracle Spatial. All vector formats can be edited and updated in its native
format. Spatial Studio is an efficient tool that handles large datasets with complex
geometries. Our data model complies with OGC's GML object property model.
Edit
Spatial Studio has advanced functions for editing maps.
In addition to standard GIS editing, the tool supports topological editing, like automatic surface construction, curve splitting and curve
joining. The feature model supports derived geometries.
Browse
Features can easily
be selected and its properties viewed in dockable windows. Topological and aggregate
relations can easily be navigated using context-sensitive drop-down menus and dynamic
highlighting.
Represent
Advanced presentations can be used to draw a map in many
layers. A layer can have optional transparency and standard Windows presentations.
User defined symbols and line signatures can be used to draw geometry. Data from different sources can be combined in any order.
Query
Queries can be easily defined
and used from the quick find dialog. Results are stored in a Find Results window
that can be browsed or exported to various data formats. Results can also be selected,
copied and pasted to any open data set.
